Pinellas Technical Education Centers - Clearwater Campus and St. Petersburg Campus offer custom training for business and industry in the highly-technical and specialized areas of medical, automotive, electronics, construction, and manufacturing.  Additional courses and training programs can be developed in the areas of customer service, computer software applications, human resources, business English and writing. The Industry Services team coordinators assist industry with curriculum development and training schedules to meet the needs of companies and their workforce.  The purpose of training is to enhance the current skill sets of workers or recruit new employees.

Training enhancement may be offered at the industry site, or on campus, meeting the goals of individual industries.  Each phase of the training process is managed by one of our education professionals.  Custom classes are designed for groups of a minimum of 10 - 12 employees from one company or several companies who wish to combine staff.
