Job Placement Services

PTEC offers training in more than 30 high-demand careers areas including healthcare, business technology, industrial technology and family and consumer science. Sixty percent of students entering PTEC will complete their field of study and 82 percent will be placed in the careers of their choice. PTEC places approximately 2,000 students in jobs each year. PTEC's Industry Services Training Program (ISTP) provides training opportunities for local, business, industry and governmental agencies. ISTP has the means to successfully implement high-quality, in-house, professional training programs geared to the individual needs of companies.

School and Program Advisory Committees

PTEC relies on the expertise of our employer partners to ensure that our training programs are providing the skills needed in the ever-changing world of work. As a member of the School Advisory Council (SAC) you will be involved in helping to keep PTEC a viable training resource for the community. Program Advisory Committee (PAC) members help specific training programs maintain relevance with industry.
