pTEC 2012 Summer Graduation, July 19th

More than 100 students are expected to participate in the Pinellas Technical Education Centers (pTEC) summer graduation ceremony, Thursday, July 19, 6 p.m., at the Countryside Christian Center, 1850 N McMullen Booth Rd., Clearwater.
James F. Madden, Jr., Deputy Superintendent, Chief of Staff, Pinellas County Schools will be the keynote speaker India Welch, singer and daughter of a pTEC staff member, will perform the national anthem. Elizabeth Kovanis from the Commercial Arts program will deliver the student address.
The pTEC Clearwater and St. Petersburg campuses offer over 60 full-time and apprenticeship programs, adult education, and customized courses for individuals and businesses. pTEC holds two commencement ceremonies per year, in January and July. The summer graduates represent approximately 30 full-time and apprenticeship programs.
