Description: The purpose of this course is to improve employability, enhance career skills, and attain personal enrichment through education. The course includes 80 hours of classroom instruction and 96 hours of clinical instruction under the direct supervision of clinical instructors in an acute care setting, primary preventive care, and leadership.
Accreditation: This course is approved by the Florida State Board of Nursing, Rule 64B9-3.0025.

Length: 176 Hours
Location/Class Schedule: The PN Remedial course is only offered once a school year, usually in the spring. The next expected start date is April 7, 2014 - June 9, 2014. Students must pay the tuition total by Tuesday, April 1 to register for the class.
The theory portion will be from April 7, 2014 - May 1, 2014 and Clinicals will be May 5, 2014 - June 9, 2014. Class meetings/Clinicals are Monday - Thursday from 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
There will be an Information Meeting on Wednesday, March 5, 2013 at 5:30 PM in the Cafeteria of PTEC - St. Petersburg.
PN Refresher Students must also complete a Level 2 Background Check and Fingerprinting (with EZ Fingerprinting ONLY) and Drug Screening within 30 days of the course start date. Students may also be required to show proof of updated immunizations such as TB and Flu Shot. See Mrs. Still for details.
